VOLVO INDIA IS GOING TO ASSEMBLE ITS MODEL

The Indian unit of Swedish Carmaker Volvo is going to assemble all its vehicles in India from the next year. Sales in 2020 will be lower than 2019 but they are going to continue to gain market share. India is looking forward to expand its presence in the luxury car market. At present Volvo car India assembles 3 models that are SUVsXC60 AND XC90, and Sedan S90. The sales during Covid-19 the sales is dropped but they are expecting the sales to become normal during the festive season. Volvo Car India managing director Charles Frump said that the company is facing short term challenges due to Covid-19 but there is no change in long term strategy of the company to develop the market.
